OPEN SESSION
Pursuant to Section 54954.2(b) (2) of the Brown Act, the Council may add an item to its
agenda upon a determination by a two-thirds vote of the members of the legislative
body present at the meeting, or, if less than two-thirds of the members are present, a
unanimous vote of those members present, that there is a need to take immediate
action and that the need for action came to the attention of the local agency subsequent
to the posting of the agenda
The City Attorney advised the City Council that written communication has been
received from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP., litigation entitled,
Southern California Gas Company vs. City of Santa Ana,
USDC No. CV-02-00658-GHK
The City Attorney recommended the following agenda item be added to the Closed
Session Agenda:
Motion: Find that there is a need to add a matter that arose subsequent to the
posting of the Agenda.
