RECOMMENDED ACTION
Continue the public hearing for the vacation of a portion of land at the
northeast corner of Grand Avenue and Fairhaven Avenue until November 5,
2007.
DISCUSSION
On September 17, 2007, City Council adopted a resolution declaring the
City's intent to vacate a portion of street right-of-way at the northeast
corner of Grand Avenue and Fairhaven Avenue. Council also set a public
hearing for October 15, 2007 to consider the vacation. Staff recommends
the public hearing be continued until November 5, 2007.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
In accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed
request is not considered to be a project. No further action is
required.
