FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT is entered into this
29th day of June, 2007, by and between GARY STEVEN LABB, (hereinafter "Consultant"), and
the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California
("City").
RECITALS:
A. The parties entered into Agreement N-2006-042, dated May 10, 2006, (hereinafter "said
Agreement") by which Consultant has instructed City police investigators in vehicle theft
investigation procedures.
B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to renew
said Agreement for an additional one-year term.
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject to all
the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First Amendment to
Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows:

1. Section 2, COMPENSA nON, shall be increased by $2000.00 to provide services during the
extended term of said Agreement.
2. Section 3, TERM, shall be extended for an additional one-year term, through June 30, 2008.
3. Except as hereinabove amended the terms and conditions of the said Agreement shall remain in
full force and effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to Consultant
Agreement on the date and year first written above.
