Approve an Appropriation Adjustment accepting a $2,000 FM Global Fire
Prevention Grant into the Fire Department's Gift & Donation account and
appropriating the same into the Fire Department's Fire Prevention, Other
Material & Supplies account.
DISCUSSION
FM Global Foundation of Massachusetts has awarded the Santa Ana Fire
Department a $2,000 "grant" for the purpose of furthering fire prevention
education. The Fire Department wishes to use these funds to purchase
brochures on fire prevention in the home. The brochures are used at fire
safety events at Santa Ana schools and other public events.
FISCAL IMPACT
Approval of the Appropriation Adjustment will increase the anticipated
revenues in the Fire - Gifts & Donation Account (account no. 011-01-5798-
320) by $2,000 and appropriate the same into the Fire Department's Fire
Prevention, Other Material & Supplies Account (account no. Olt-321-6391).
