CONSENT CALENDAR
All matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered to be
routine by the Housing Authority and will be enacted by one motion
without discussion unless otherwise directed by the Chairperson.
Persons wishing to speak regarding Consent Calendar matters
should file a "Request to Speak" form with the Recording Secretary.

CITY COUNCIL /HOUSING AUTHORITY
4. FUNDING ALLOCATIONS FOR THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS WITH
AIDS PROGRAM FISCAL YEAR 2007-2008.
Recommended action approved by the Community Redevelopment and
Housing Commission on July 3, 2007 by a vote of 6:0 (Villasenor, absent).
Recommended Action:
Recommend that the City Council:
1. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager
and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement between the
City of Santa Ana and the Housing Authority of the City of Santa Ana
in the amount of $530,000 for the ongoing administration of the
Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program.

BUSINESS CALENDAR
2. Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager
and the Clerk of the Council to execute an agreement with the
County of Orange Health Care Agency in the amount of $774,650 to
provide supportive housing services to HIV/AIDS individuals in the
County of Orange.
Recommend that the Housing Authority:
Direct the Authority General Counsel to prepare and authorize the
Executive Director of the Housing Authority to execute an
agreement between the City of Santa Ana and the Housing Authority
of the City of Santa Ana in the amount of $530,000 for the
implementation of the Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program.
2. Direct the Authority General Counsel to prepare and authorize the
Executive Director of the Housing Authority to execute an
agreement with AIDS Service Foundation Orange County in an
amount not to exceed $12,000 to administer the wait list for the
Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program.

members regarding any non-agenda items within the subject matter jurisdiction
of the Authority. NO action may be taken on non-agenda items unless
authorized by law.

your remarks to three (3) minutes. The number of speakers and allotted time
may be limited at the discretion of the Authority.
6. HOUSING AUTHORITY MEMBER COMMENTS
AT THIS TIME Housing Authority members may comment on non-agenda
matters and ask questions of or give directions to staff. NO action may be
taken on non-agenda items unless authorized by law.
