RESOLUTION NO. 2008-056
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
POLICE DEPARTMENT TO AUTHORIZE THE
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR SERVICES PROVIDED
AS PART OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA'S MEMBERSHIP
IN THE INTEGRATED LAW AND JUSTICE AGENCY FOR
ORANGE COUNTY FOR THE 2008-2009 FISCAL YEAR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines
and declares as follows:
A. In 2002, the City Council authorized membership of the City of Santa Ana
in the Integrated Law and Justice Agency for Orange County joint powers
authority and approved the Joint Powers Agreement.
B. Expenditures for each fiscal year for participation in the Integrated Law
and Justice Agency for Orange County requires City Council approval.
C. The Santa Ana Police Department has received an invoice from the
Integrated Law and Justice Agency for Orange County for fiscal year
2008-2009 in the amount of $74,867.00.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby:
Authorizes the Santa Ana Police Department to expend funds in the
amount of $74,867.00 for the member agency fees for the membership of
the City of Santa Ana in the Integrated Law and Justice Agency for
Orange County for fiscal year 2008-2009.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by
the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting
this Resolution.
