Nuisance Abatement First St. Drug Dens <br />Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana.Use caution when opening attachments or links. <br />I support what you are considering doing here to eliminate the drug nuisance problems on First St. <br />Hopefully, this means of using a nuisance abatement ordinance will rid the area of the undesirable drug element <br />and have a positive effect on the homeless situation as well. <br />A similar situation exists in the SD-84 Transit Zoning Code area—with a few bad actor"nuisance" businesses <br />causing significant problems there. <br />I would suggest that rather than removing the M-I Light Industrial zone and eliminating hundreds of clean <br />industrial businesses and thousands of jobs, you could use this same nuisance abatement ordinance means to <br />target the three or four "bad actor"businesses in the Transit Zoning area which degrade both business and <br />residential neighborhoods. <br />Residents don't want to unnecessarily shut down clean industrial businesses and eliminate jobs. <br />They want quiet, clean, uncrowded neighborhoods. <br />Please give them that-- and eliminate the "nuisance" businesses in SD-84. <br />Save the neighborhoods and Santa Ana jobs. <br />i
