Award a contract to Murray Company for the installation of a water booster
pump system in the amount of $45,389.
DISCUSSION
City Hall utilizes a water booster pump system to provide water pressure to
the building's restrooms, drinking fountains, and kitchens. The existing
system is 37 years old and is no longer cost effective to maintain. The
contract will provide for the replacement of the existing pump system.
The notice inviting bids was advertised on September 10, 2008, and bids
were solicited. A summary of the bid invitations and bids received is as
follows:

The bid received from Murray Company is responsive to the specification and
meets the City's requirements.
