Galls, An Aramark Co, LLC DISCUSSION The Santa Ana Police Department requires uniforms to outfit approximately 650 employees. Uniforms identify department personnel by assigned duties and gives a professional appearance. On July 3, 2006, the City Council awarded contracts to two vendors for a three-year period with provisions for two one-year renewals. Price reductions and item substitutions will result in cost savings in the new contract period. Staff recommends the first renewal of the contracts.
