RECOMMENDED ACTION
Reject all bids for the Adams Park Basketball Court Renovation.
DISCUSSION
The existing basketball court at Adams Park has severe cracking and erosion of existing surface
that inhibits the use of the facility (Exhibit 1). The project entails resurfacing and re-striping of six
existing basketball courts. Additionally, volleyball and hopscotch are to be re-striped within the
basketball courts.
The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on February 17 and 19, 2010, and bids were opened on
March 9, 2010. A summary of the bid invitations mailed, the bids received, and the bid results
