DISCUSSION
on Coto~er G, X008, the Housing ~uthox~ity inoreaed the E~eeutive
Director's authority to execute agreements from an ar~ount not to exceed
10, 000 to 000. This i. the sane authority granted to the City
tanager by the voters through a charter ~endn~ent in Novem.~er of X005.
The authority granted to tie xeouti~re D~.rector required the ub~.ission
of a quarterly report to the Housing authority at a pub~.~.o meeting on all
suoh agreements . The report is required to ino]~u.de the names of s.
contractors and the amounts of each oontraot.
During the fourth quarter of X008, the Housing Authority did not enter
into any contracts valued at ~~,000 and under. Agree~.ents valued at
greater than. $25,000 require approval by the Housing Authority.
