J~ 2 SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT

J~~ THIS SF~COND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT, is entered into on
~ ' n' November,,3O , 2002, by and between Language Line, LLC ("Language Line") and
the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California
("City").
Recitals:
A. The parties entered into an Agreement N-2000-142, dated August 30, 2000,
(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Language Line has provided over-the phone
interpreter services.
B. Said Agreement was amended by the parties to provide that the total sum payable
under said Agreement would not exceed $10,000.00.
C. The parties wish to again amend said Agreement to provide additional compensation
so that services may continue to be provided.
VVhe~refore, in consideration of the covenants contained in the Agreement, and subject to
all the terms and conditions of the Agreement, and the Amendment to Agreement, except
those amended in this Second Amendment to Agreement, the parties agree as follows: ~

1. Pursuant to Section 2 of said Agreement, Consultant and City agree to renew the i
Agreement and to increase the total sum payable under said Agreement by $10,000 to
a total of $20,000.00.
2. Except as hereinabove modified, all terms and conditions of said Agreement, and
Amendment to Agreement, shall remain in full force and effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Second Amendment to
Agreement on the date and year first written above.
