Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana.Use caution when opening attachments or links. Dear Santa Ana City Council We are residents at Santa Ana since 2017 and have observed our residential street transform into a commercial street due to several of the new owners being investors and have converted the homes into commercial enterprises. We already have a sober living facility on our street for the past few years. Prior to conversion of this residential property into sober living, it was being used as an Airbnb property by the new owners. In addition to this, several of the new owners have multiple renters as only several renters can pool to afford the sky high rents. These tenants and occupants have no desire to have good neighborly responsibilities as they move in and out very frequently. This has caused severe parking shortages on S Spruce Street(our block) and San Lorenzo Street (adjacent block). While I understand the city's desire to provide reasonable living accommodation to all, I do urge you to stipulate some form of parking regulations in our neighborhood May I recommend either permit parking or parking restrictions during overnight hours. The sober living facility can have upto seven cars that block the street and are only moved for a few short minutes during street cleaning. Best regards Dave Bhasin t
