BETWEEN <br /> THE COUNTY OF ORANGE <br /> CommprderC�,I I14rnAnZlarz(pz) AND <br /> THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> FOR THE PROVISION OF <br /> PROBATION OVERTIME SERVICES <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, hereinafter referred to as "AGREEMENT" entered into this lst <br /> day of November ,, 2025, which date is enumerated for purposes of reference only, is by and <br /> between the COUNTY OF ORANGE, a political subdivision of the State of California, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "COUNTY", acting through the Orange County Probation Department, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "PROBATION", and the CITY OF SANTA ANA,hereinafter referred to as <br /> "CITY". COUNTY, PROBATION and CITY may be referred to individually as "PARTY" or <br /> collectively as "PARTIES". <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS,California Penal Code section 530.5 allows PROBATION to employ Deputy <br /> Probation Officers, hereinafter designated as "DPOs", and Supervising Probation Officers, <br /> hereinafter designated as "SPOs", to provide services for a population consisting of adults and <br /> youth on probation, residing within CITY'S geographical limits; <br /> WHEREAS, CITY desires to contract with PROBATION for the provision of overtime <br /> services, when such services are requested by CITY and scheduled with PROBATION; and <br /> WHEREAS, COUNTY is willing and capable of providing such services through <br /> PROBATION's DPOs and SPOs designated to provide overtime services for CITY; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed as follows: <br /> Page I of 12 <br /> Orange County Probation Department <br /> City Overtime.Agreement <br />
