The parties entered into an Agreement No.N.-2024-347 dated October 1,2024 ("Agreement") <br /> by which City agreed to house detainees held in custody by the Irvine Police Department for <br /> violation of California Penal Code §647(f),being under the influence of alcohol,drugs or other <br /> controlled substance(hereinafter"§647(f)detainees").The Agreement runs through September <br /> 30, 2027 and is current and in effect. <br /> B. The parties now seek to amend the Agreement to include the housing of females charged Colder <br /> Penal Code 647(f)with citable misdemeanor warrants. <br /> The Parties therefore agree: <br /> I. Section 2, Scope of Services, is amended to City agrees to provide the housekeeping, safekeeping <br /> and subsistence of female 647(f) detainees, including those with citable misdemeanor warrants, of <br /> Agency in accordance with this Agreement. Except those female detainees with citable warrants <br /> involving violence, a firearm, or resisting arrest. <br /> 2.
