As a follow up to our earlier conversations, The interviews of SAPD Correctional Officers Celeste Fernandez and Mary
Valenzuela related to the SAPD custodial death on 11/04/2020, have been scheduled to take place at SAPD on Saturday,
November 14, 2020, at 1800 hours. SAPD Detective Frank Gomez and I will be conducting the interviews related to
Orange County District Attorney’s Office Investigation (SA 20-027). SAPD Detectives Saul Esquivel and Javier Aceves will
be conducting the internal Investigation. Please let us know if you have any issues or concerns.
