The following is a summary of the interview that is not verbatim or necessarily in order of the conversation, but organized for the purpose of clarity. Refer to the audio recording for exact quotes, comments and statements. On Monday, July 2, 2018, at approximately mid-night, was working on Care Ambulance #9571 as an EMT with his partner, . They received a call to respond to 1020 West Civic Center Drive, Santa Ana, to assist Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) Engine #71 with a gunshot wound patient, later identified at TAYLOR.
