The following is a summary of the interview: <br />At the time of the incident, was employed by the Superior Court of Orange <br />County as a Pre-trial Services Officer. At approximately 2330 hours, was walking from <br />the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Inmate Reception Center to the parking structure <br />located at 1020 West Civic Center Drive where he parked his vehicle. arrived at his <br />vehicle when he observed a man standing by his car. noticed his vehicle was the only <br />car in that area of the first level of the parking structure and assumed the man was attempting <br />to break in to his vehicle. As walked toward his car, the man walked away. The man <br />was carrying a piece of metal similar to a cement stake and a wire. passed by his own <br />vehicle and visually inspected it.
