As the focus of this investigation, you have the right to be represented by a representative of your choice who may be
present at all times during the interview. This representative shall not be any person(s) that are the subject(s) of the same
investigation. I will be the Supervisor in charge of the interview, and Sergeant Javier Aceves will be present as well. If
there are any changes in the supervisors present, you will be notified before the beginning of the interview, and given an
opportunity to discuss the change with your representative if you so choose . You are advised t hat your rights are fu lly
outlined in the Public Safety Officers Procedural Bi ll of Rights Act, Government Code Sections 3300-3311, as well as
Departmental Order 1010. Please refer to these documents for detailed information regard ing your rights reference this
investigation.
If you elect to be represented, you are responsible for contacting a represe ntative or attorney of your choice to arrange for
this interview. The interview will be completed on or before 01/22/202 0. I can be reached at 245-8017.
I am giving you a direct order not to discuss this investigation or your interview with anyone other t han your recognized
representative or me, as needed to prepare for future proceedings in this administrative investigation -including any
appeal, as part of an outside law enforcement agency's investigative process, or as compelled by law or legal proceeding .
This order does not preclude you from seeking psychological services from the Counselling Team International in the
event their services are desired prior to your scheduled interview. Failure to obey this order could result in administrative
charges and possible discipline.
