S.A. 15-005 <br /> <br /> <br />CASE NAME: OSORIO, BENITO <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING (FATAL) <br />INTERVIEW OF: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PRESENT: SUMMER BEATLEY, INVESTIGATOR <br />SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />DATE AND TIME: MARCH 11, 2015 1538-1550 HOURS <br />LOCATION: 312 SOUTH MAIN STREET, SANTA ANA, CA 92701 <br />On Friday, March 11, 2015, at approximately 1538 hours, Santa Ana Police Investigator <br />SUMMER BEATLEY and I conducted an interview of at the Mill <br />Bakery at 312 South Main Street, in Santa Ana, regarding the above officer involved shooting <br />investigation. The following interview was audio digitally recorded: <br /> was employed at the Mill bakery. Sometime before 1300 hours, <br /> was in the back of the bakery when a customer called out to him and said there was <br />police activity out front. came to the front of the bakery and saw several police cars <br />were in front of bakery facing northbound, in the northbound lanes. He saw a male subject <br />inside a white truck in front of the police cars. He closed the front and back door to the bakery <br />and continued to watch out the front window. After a few minutes, he saw the male, who was <br />sitting in the truck, open the door and step out. saw the subject’s face was bloody as <br />if he was injured.
