On April 7th, 2023, I was working uniform patrol and driving a marked Santa Ana Police Department
vehicle. At approximately 1848 hours, I was dispatched to the area of Rosewood Avenue and Bishop Street
in reference to an Officer involved shooting.
Upon arrival, I put up crime scene tape in the area of W. Bishop Street and Rosewood Avenue. I later was
tasked with assisting on the canvassing team.
Officer Raygoza #3733 and I made contact with residents at
.
I made contact with the resident at who was later identified as .
advised me she heard approximately 3-4 shots (unknown time) on Rosewood Avenue. stated she only heard
and did not witness anything. stated she does not have any cameras on her property and advised everyone
inside the home was fine.
I made contact with the resident at who was later identified as .
advised me at approximately 1837 hours, she heard approximately 5 shots on Rosewood Avenue. At approximately
1840 hours, heard another 9 shots. stated she only heard and did not witness anything. stated she
does not have any cameras on her property and advised everyone inside the home was fine.
This concludes my involvement in this case.
