On the above date and time, Orange County District Attorneys Investigator FRANK
REYNOSO conducted a telephonic audio digital recorded interview of in
reference to the officer involved shooting incident involving MARCELINO ALMANZA. is
a Spanish speaker therefore Investigator REYNOSO translated for me. The following is a summary
of the interview.
During the early morning hours of Monday, September 10, 2012, was asleep
inside the upstairs guest room which is located on the west side of the residence when she was
awakened by (4) gunshots. looked out the guest room west facing window which
overlooks the south alley of 3005 South Bristol Street. She observed a male subject lying face
down on the ground in front of a truck. The male was not moving. Initially she did not observe
any police officers or police vehicles then several police officers arrived in their vehicles and

stood near the subject on the ground. looked out the window for 3‐4 minutes then
went back to bed.
