This <br /> Contract applies only to the Tenant family and the Subject Property identified above. <br /> 1. TERM OF THE CONTRACT <br /> The Contract shall begin on June, 1 2026 and continue for a six (6) month term. <br /> 2. RENTAL ASSISTANCE <br /> A. Program Description. The City is providing rental assistance directly to landlords <br /> on behalf of tenant participants in the program through funding received from the <br /> Homeless Housing, Assistance and Prevention Grant Program for Rapid <br /> Rehousing as facilitated through the State of California Department of Housing and <br /> Community Development ("HHAP" or"Program"). <br /> B. Rental Assistance Payments. The Program Administrator will provide rental <br /> assistance for the term stated above. The Program Administrator will make rental <br /> assistance payments directly to the Landlord for the benefit of the Tenant(s) as <br /> follows: <br /> $2,650 for Month 1 (June 2026); <br /> $2,385 for Month 2 (July 2026); <br /> $2,120 for Month 3 (August 2026); <br /> $1,855 for Month 4 (September 2026); <br /> $1,590 for Month 5 (October 2026); <br /> $1,325 for Month 6 (November 2026). <br /> Neither the Program Administrator nor the State of California assumes any <br /> obligation for the Tenant's rent, or for payment of any claim by the Landlord against <br /> the Tenant. The Program Administrator's obligation is limited to making rental <br /> assistance payments to the Landlord on behalf of the Tenant in accordance with <br /> this Contract, Further,the Program Administrator's obligation is subject to a written <br /> agreement with the State of California and HHAP funding through the State of <br /> California. <br /> Landlord's Rental Assistance Payment checks shall be made payable to and <br /> mailed as follows: <br /> Landlord Name:Bananaah, LLC- Hoyt Real Estate <br /> Landlord Address: 1635 Ohms Way, Suite A Costa Mesa CA 92627 <br /> 1 <br /> DOCSOC/1662707v3/022363-0011 <br />
