Anthony Bertagna tells City News Service that two patrol officers in separate cars found 35-
year-old Jessica Gonzalez in a Santa Ana alley Sunday night.
Bertagna says officers opened fire when Gonzalez reached for a gun that turned out to be fake.
Gonzalez was suspected in the shooting death of 44-year-old Jennifer Roberta Solorio, who was gunned
down Thursday afternoon in Orange.
Gonzalez and Solorio had been in a long-term relationship and had lived together. Gonzalez had moved
out about two months ago.
Investigators have not determined a motive for the shooting, but believe the failed relationship had
something to do with it.
< Previous Story
Obituary: Sid Inglis was California education expertNext Story >
Utah state senator proposes to longtime partner
Email Newsletters >
Manage newsletter subscriptions
Page 1 of 2SANTA ANA, Calif.: OC woman wanted in shooting is killed by police | State | Modesto ...
6/27/2013http://www.modbee.com/2013/06/24/2778006/oc-woman-wanted-in-shooting-is.html
