On the above date and time, I conducted an audio digital recorded interview of
, regarding the officer involved shooting incident of HANS KEVIN ARELLANO. The
incident occurred on July 30, 2013, at 622 South Harbor Boulevard, in the city of Santa Ana.
The following is a summary of the interview:
On July 30, 2013, at approximately 1500 hours, was in the kitchen area of
“Jugo’s La Tropicana” waiting for his mother, , to prepare food for him.
heard a “guy” yelling towards the front of the business; however he was not able to
determine what the male subject was saying. then heard one gunshot coming from
the front of the business. walked to the front of the juice bar and saw a female
customer, later identified as: ( ), crying and screaming.

’ aunt, , who was an employee of Jugo’s La Tropicana, had fainted
after the shooting. ran out of the west, rear door of the business to Nady’s Liquor and
obtained a bottle of rubbing alcohol in an attempt to stimulate consciousness. did not
witness the shooting incident.
