Stevens, and Jamie Estrada to provide golf lessons at River Golf Course in an amount <br /> of $500 each per month paid to the City for a term beginning July 1, 2026, and expiring <br /> June 30, 2027 (Core Agreement No. A-2026-XXX). <br /> GOVERNMENT CODE &84308 APPLIES: No <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The City of Santa Ana Parks, Recreation, and Community Services Agency (PRCSA) <br /> oversees recreational operations and programming at River View Golf Course, including <br /> golf instruction opportunities that support player development, community recreation, and <br /> continued activation of the golf course facility. Historically, independent golf instructors <br /> have operated at River View Golf Course under arrangements established with the former <br /> leaseholder. <br /> On March 3, 2026, the Santa Ana City Council approved a new professional management <br /> agreement with CourseCo Inc. to operate River View Golf Course under a management <br /> services model. Under this updated operational structure, independent golf instructors <br /> are no longer able to provide instruction directly through CourseCo, as instructors offering <br /> similar services would be required to operate as employees of the management company. <br /> To avoid disruption of existing instructional services and maintain continuity for current <br /> golf students and instructors, PRCSA is proposing five (5) non-exclusive Golf Instructor <br /> Use Agreements directly between the City and existing instructors: <br /> • Bongwon Kim <br /> • Kyoung Im Kwon Victoria <br /> • Putting for Eagle <br />
