Officers assigned to the Santa Ana Police <br />Department¶s Gang Suppression Unit broadcasted they were involved in a shooting and requested units respond to <br />1814 S. Evergreen St. Several units responded. <br /> <br />While I was driving to the above location there was a request for an officer to escort medics to the scene. I located the <br />OCFA unit that was responding and directed them to follow me into the scene as requested. I arrived on scene at <br />approximately 2112 hours. <br /> <br />After escorting medics to the scene I was directed by Sgt. Salo to stand by with a firearm that was located at the <br />scene of the shooting. I remained at the scene until 0314 hours when I was relieved by Cpl. D.
