Narrative: Narrative
On 3-11-19 at approximately 2100 hours, I was working uniformed patrol in a marked SAPD vehicle. I responded to
the area of 1818 S. Cedar St. reference an officer involved shooting that had just occurred. I arrived on scene at
approximately 2108 hours, and assisted by setting up perimeter tape along the south perimeter of Occidental from
Evergreen to Cedar. I was then tasked with transporting Detective Corporal Alcala #3226 from the scene back to the
Santa Ana Police station at approximately 2135 hours. At approximately 0245 hours, I responded back to the scene to
transport a SAPD vehicle from the scene back to the station. I left the perimeter at approximately 0250 hours. At 0325
hours, I responded back to the scene and was then directed to relieve officer at OC Global Hospital at 0327 hours. I
remained at the hospital with the suspect involved until I was relieved by daywatch officers at approximately 0620
hours.This concluded my involvement with the investigation.
