Officers on the scene were requesting assistance for people fighting and preventing fire personnel from assisting the person needing medical aid. I responded to the location to assist. Once on the scene, I observed officers in a line, preventing those fighting from getting close to officers who had two detained. I was advised that there was one outstanding suspect who had assaulted an officer. Once the two the officers were detained, officers identified and detained the outstanding suspect. Due to the hostile and aggressive crowd, I directed the three detained males (Cervantes, Ocampo, and Viliebre) to be transported down the street to McFadden and Hickory, were OCFA personnel was directed to respond to examine and treat them for any injuries they may have sustained. Fire personnel examined all three and cleared them for booking. Viliebre was transported to OC Global for an injury to his hand. I contacted Officer Babinski #3515 and Officer Roelofs #3514 who informed me that they had used force to take the three into custody. I contacted Ocampo and Cervantes at the jail. My BWC was activated at the time of my contact. I briefly spoke with Ocampo and asked him if he was injured. Ocampo complained of pain to his mouth and that his tooth had been broken. I could see what appeared to be dry blood on his mouth and an upper tooth missing. I then briefly spoke with Cervantes and asked if he was injured.
