A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DELEGATING APPROVAL
AUTHORITY TO THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR FOR
CHECK CASHING BUSINESSES CITYWIDE
WHEREAS, Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-630 (b) authorizes the
Planning Commission to delegate to the Zoning Administrator authority
to act on any specific type of conditional use permit; and
WHEREAS, said delegation of authority shall be made by formal
resolution; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 41-630(b),
the Planning Commission considered delegating the authority to act on
conditional use permits for check cashing businesses to the Zoning
Administrator the came before the Planning Commission at a public
hearing on October 25, 1999.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The authority to act on conditional use permits for check cashing
businesses is hereby delegated to the Zoning Administrator.
ADOPTED this 25 day of October 1999, by the
following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Verino, Mondo, Na1ie, and Cribb
NOES : Commissioners Solorio
ABSENT: Commissioners Doughty
ABSTENTIONS : Commissioners Richardson
