RESOLUTION NO. 98-20
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO RENAME
REGENCY BOULEVARD LOCATED WITHIN THE
MACARTHUR PLACE DEVELOPMENT TO FIRST
AMERICAN WAY
WHEREAS, Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 33-6 provides for
the renaming of public streets by the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, First American Financial Corporation has proposed to
develop 16.94 acres of the MacArthur Place development with a
campus style office development; and
WHEREAS, this Commission considered renaming Regency
Boulevard to First American Way at its meeting on March 23, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISION OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Based upon the evidence submitted at the abovesaid
meeting and giving consideration to the policy guidelines
contained in Santa Ana Municipal Code Section 33-6, this
Commission finds and determines as follows:
A. That Regency Boulevard, located in the MacArthur Place
development, be renamed First American Way.

ADOPTED this 23 day of MARCH 1998, by the
following vote:
AYES : Commissioners MacDowell, Mondo, Nalle, Solorio, and Cribb
NOES: Commissioners None
ABSENT: Commissioners Verino and Doughty
ABSTENTIONS: Commissioners
