RESOLUTION NO. 97-10
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DELEGATING THE
AUTHORITY TO MAKE THE DETERMINATION ON
VARIANCES FOR OVERCONCENTRATION OF OFF-
SALE LIQUOR LICENSES TO THE ZONING
ADMINISTRATOR
WHEREAS, the Santa Ana Municipal Code, pursuant to Section 41-
630, authorizes the Planning Commission to delegate to the Zoning
Administrator the authority to act on any specific type of
variance; and
WHEREAS, the Zoning Administrator, pursuant to Santa Ana
Municipal Code Section 41-631, is authorized to act on any specific
type of variance delegated to him or her by the Planning
Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission desires to delegate the
authority to the Zoning Administrator to grant or deny variances
required for off-sale liquor licenses where overconcentration
occurs, as defined by this Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Planning Commission hereby delegates the authority to
the Zoning Administrator to grant or deny variances required for
off-sale liquor licenses where overconcentration occurs.
