RECOMMENDED ACTION
Receive and file the Quarterly Report of Contracts entered into between January 1, 2011 and
March 31, 2011, valued at $25,000 and less.
DISCUSSION
On October 6, 2008, the Housing Authority increased the Executive Director's authority to execute
agreements from an amount not to exceed $10,000 to $25,000. Agreements valued at greater
than $25,000 require approval by the Board of Directors. This is the same authority granted to the
City Manager by the voters through a Charter Amendment in November of 2006. The authority
granted to the Executive Director required the submission of a quarterly report to the Housing
Authority at a public meeting on all such agreements. No contracts valued at $25,000 ar less were
entered into during the period of January 1, 2011 to March 31, 2011.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
