A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING CERTAIN COMMITTEES OF
THE CITY COUNCIL
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows:
A. By Resolution No 98-091, the City Council created eight (8) Council
committees for the purpose of focusing greater Council attention on key priorities
coming before the Council in the future.
B. By Resolution No 99-069, the City Council amended Resolution No. 98-
091 to reorganize and create six (6) committees.
C. The City Council seeks to revise Resolution No. 99-069 to reorganize and
create six committees, in order to improve efficiency and productivity of the
committee process.
Section 2. From and after the date hereof, there shall be the following
committees of the City Council:
Neighborhood Improvement/Code Enforcement
South Main Street Improvement Plan
Public Safety
Education & Youth Programs
Park Development/Joint Use Facilities
Arts and Culture
Section 3. Resolution No. 99-069 is hereby repealed in its entirety and shall
be null and void for all purposes.
Section 4. Section 1 of Resolution No. 98-091 is hereby repealed and shall be
null and void for all purposes. Sections 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Resolution No. 98-091 are
unaffected by this Resolution and shall remain in full force and effect.
ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 2001.
