RECOMMENDED ACTION
Receive and file the Quarterly Report of Contracts entered into between April 1, 2012 and June 30,
2012, valued at $25,000 and less. -
DISCUSSION
On October 6, 2008, the Housing Authority increased the Executive Director's authority to execute
agreements from an amount not to exceed $10,000 to $25,000. Agreements valued at greater than
$25,000 require approval by the Board of Directors. This is the same authority granted to the City
Manager by the voters through a CharterAmendment in November of 2006. The authority granted
to the Executive Director required the submission of a quarterly report to the Housing Authority at a
public meeting on all such agreements with the names of contractors and the amounts of each
contract. There are no contracts to declare forthe quarter aforementioned.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action.
