ViW-40ky' CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
THIS SEVENTH AMENDMENT to Consultant Agreement is made and entered into
on JuneaP?2013 by and between Cesar Vargas (hereinafter referred to as "Consultant") and the
City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City").
RECITALS:
A. The parties entered into Agreement #N-2005-123, dated October 17, 2005, (hereinafter "said
Agreement") by which Consultant has provided translation/interpretation services.
B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to extend the
term of said Agreement to provide continuous, uninterrupted service.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective promises, and
subject to all the terns and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this Seventh
Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
The TERM of said Agreement shall be extended for an additional one-year period, through
June 30, 2014.
2. City agrees to pay, and Consultant agrees to accept as total payment for its services, the
hourly rate of $95.00 with a two hour minimum, which includes up to thirty (30) minutes of
preparation, familiarization and review time, as referenced in Section lb of the original
agreement. The total compensation to be paid pursuant to this Agreement shall not exceed
$25,000.00 during the term of the this renewal period
3. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement shall remain in
full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Second Amendment to
Consultant Agreement on the date and year first written above.
