AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT FOR SEWER SYSTEM SPOT REPAIR AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS (PROJECT 3505) Recommended Action: Amend the contract with Zondiros Corporation for the project of sewer system spot repair at various locations to increase the amount by $40,000 for a total contract amount of $205,633 PUBLIC HEARING 75.A. PUBLIC HEARING – ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 2004-03 TO RESCIND THE MISSION DEFINITION AND MISSION USE FROM THE M2 ZONE Legal Notice published in the Orange County Register February 6, 2004. Recommended Action: Place ordinance on first reading and authorize publication of title ORDINANCE NO. NS-2646 – An ordinance of the City of Santa Ana repealing section 41-120.1 and subsection 41-489.5(i) of the Santa Ana Municipal Code relating to missions RECESS TO SANTA ANA TRAIN STATION – 3:10 P.M. WORK STUDY SESSION W.S.A. METRO GOLD LINE INSPECTION TOUR Under the authority granted in Government Code Section 54954(b)(2), the Santa Ana City Council will conduct a field trip and study session to inspect the Pasadena Gold line light rail CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING 2 FEBRUARY 17, 2004 WORK STUDY SESSIONS project and related transit oriented development (T.O.D.) opportunities in the cities of Pasadena and South Pasadena. The meeting will include site visits to inspect at least three T.O.D. sites and three Gold Line stations. There may be additional stops at other locations on the Metro Gold Line. ITINERARY* Work Study Session convened at: Santa Ana Depot Train Platform – 1000 East Santa Ana Boulevard, Santa Ana, CA 92701 Board Amtrak train and arrive at: Los Angeles Union Station- 800 North Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 – Overview of Gold Line Tour Board Metro Gold Line and arrive at: Mission Metro Gold Line Station, South Pasadena, – Presentation at the Mission Meridian Village sales office located at 964 Mission Street, South Pasadena, by Creative Partners and Moule-Polyzoides, architects for Mission Village and Del Mar Station projects (sales office adjacent to the station) Re-board Metro Gold Line and arrive at: Del Mar Metro Gold Line Station – 230 S. Raymond Ave, Pasadena, CA 91105 –Review progress of transit oriented development near the station Re-board Metro Gold Line and ride to the end of the line; re-board and arrive at: Memorial Park Metro Gold Line Station – 125 Holly Street, Pasadena, CA 91103 – Inspect Holly Street Village Apartments built over the station and the adjacent Pasadena Senior Center Recess and reconvene at: Pasadena Senior Center –85 E. Holly Street, Pasadena, CA 91103 – Presentation by Cynthia Kurtz, City Manager, Pasadena PUBLIC COMMENTS Members of the public may address the City Council regarding agenda items only ADJOURNMENT *All venues are open and accessible to the public. There will be no charge to ride the train to Pasadena for members of the public attending the meeting. Return from Pasadena will be provided to the public via City provided vans.
