CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2009 -21
10:36 a.m.
Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall
Ross Annex Conference Room 2001.
Also in attendance were: Carlos Guaman, Jalil Arshi and Jesus Payan, Tacos Sinaloa;
Verny Carvajal, Senior Planner; Yolanda Pena and Mike McCoy, Police Department;
and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary.
There were no written communications.
Verny Carvajal presented the staff report and recommendation.
Police Condition No. 5 was modified to not allow strolling musicians to play music at the
premises. Mr. Klotz informed the applicant that a violation could potentially bring the
application back to the Zoning Administrator for revocation.
Police Condition No. 19 was also modified to include the entire property must conform
to the provisions. Mr. McCoy added that this condition must be met prior to the
issuance of the Letter of Approval to the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board. Mr. Klotz
also requested that graffiti at the site be removed prior to issuing the letter.
Mr. Klotz inquired if the applicants read and agreed to the conditions. The applicants
stated their agreement to all the conditions.
The Zoning Administrator adopted a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No.
2009 -21 with amended conditions.
The hearing adjourned at 10:47 a.m.
