Pursuant to the Brown Act and the Maddy Act, the March 22, 2004 Agenda for the Regular
Meeting was posted on the door of the City Hall Council Chambers at 22 Civic Center Plaza
on March 18, 2004, at 2:53 p.m.

Instruct the Commission Secretary to enter posting into the minutes

Public hearings provide individuals the opportunity to be heard
regarding an intended action of the Planning Commission related to
land use.
1. GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 2004-02 (Bob St. Paul)
Filed by the City of Santa Ana Community Development Agency to change the existing
General Plan designation from General Commercial to District Center to allow the future
expansion for the Bowers Museum at 2032 North Main Street.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend that the City Council:
1. Approve and adopt the Mitigated Negative Declaration and Mitigation Monitoring
Program, ER No. 2004-12.
2. Adopt a resolution approving General Plan Amendment No. 2004-02.
2. ZONE ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 2004-01 (Vince Fregoso)
Filed by the City of Santa Ana to amend Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to
allow construction of 108 Live/Work units at 900-920, and 901-927 East Santa Ana
Boulevard and 920 North Santiago.

RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend that the City Council adopt an ordinance approving Zoning Ordinance
