HomeMy WebLinkAbout10/10/2012ZONING ADMINISTRATOR HEARING MINUTES OCTOBER 10, 2012 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2011 -07 10:40 a.m. Mr. Sergio Klotz, Zoning Administrator, called to order the public hearing in the City Hall Ross Annex Conference Room 2001. Also in attendance were: Carlos Madriles and Miguel Ibarra, Applicants; Vince Fregoso, Principal Planner; Mike McCoy, Police Department; Ryan Hodge, City Attorney; and Jocelyn Magalona, Recording Secretary. There were no written communications. Mr. Fregoso presented the staff report and added a condition stating should Karmina downsize and allow new tenant space, the new tenants will have to apply for separate entitlements /license. The Police Department noted there were no significant calls for service at the location from January 2011 to the present. A police condition was also added to indicate that food must be made available in conjunction with the sale of alcohol at the bar. Carlos Madriles stated his understanding and agreement to all of the conditions when asked by the Zoning Administrator. Discussion and clarification followed regarding the proposed patio and public right -of- way. The Zoning Administrator requested further information and that the Public Works Agency verify the public right -of -way measurements and requirements. The Zoning Administrator continued the amendment to Conditional Use Permit No. 2011 -07 to October 31, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the City Hall Ross Annex, Second Floor Conference Room 2001, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California 92701.
