D. HISTORIC PROPERTY PRESERVATION AGREEMENT NO. 2010-19
Filed by the City of Santa Ana to execute a historic property preservation agreement with
Amy L. and Thomas K. Tsotsis for the structure located at 2126 North Ross Street (McKay
House).
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend that the Historic Resources Commission recommend that the City Council
authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the attached agreement
with Amy L. and Thomas K. Tsotsis, property owners, for the structure located at 2126
North Ross Street subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and
City Attorney.

John M. and Ann P. Coil for the structure located at 2024 North Victoria Drive (Hammond-
Haan House).
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend that the Historic Resources Commission recommend that the City Council
authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the attached agreement
with John M. and Ann P. Coil, property owners, for the structure located at 2024 North
Victoria Drive subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and City
Attorney.
F. HISTORIC PROPERTY PRESERVATION AGREEMENT NO. 2011-03
Filed by the City of Santa Ana to execute a historic property preservation agreement with
Michelle D. Light and John L. Novak for the structure located at 321 East Eighth Street
(Chilton House).
RECOMMENDATION:
Recommend that the Historic Resources Commission recommend that the City Council
authorize the City Manager and Clerk of the Council to execute the attached agreement
with Michelle D. Light and John L. Novak, property owners, for the structure located at 321
East Eighth Street subject to non-substantive changes approved by the City Manager and
City Attorney.

3. STAFF COMMENTS
Planning Manager Haluza welcomed the newly appointed commissioners and introduced
the staff. She also introduced Escarlot Mar, a student at Godinez High School, participating
in the new Planning Internship Program.
Associate Planner Hally Soboleske announced the opening of the Chapter One Restaurant
at 227 North Broadway and encouraged the commissioners to enjoy the facility and menu.
4. HISTORIC RESOURCES COMMISSION COMMENTS
Commissioner Yrarrazaval
• Requested an update on the Sexlinger property on Santa Clara. Planning Manager
Haluza provided information.
• Acknowledged he will continue to serve as the Planning Commission representative
for the Historic Resources Commission.

Commissioner Rogers
• Inquired about the election of officers for the Historic Resources Commission.
Planning Manager Haluza announced the replacement of Commissioner
Bustamante that will be made at the City Council meeting on April 18, 2011 which
will then allow the Historic Resources Commission to conduct an election of officers
on July 7, 2011.
5. EXCUSE OF ABSENCES
Commissioner O’Callaghan moved to excuse the absence of Commissioner Bustamante;
motion was seconded by Commissioner Yrarrazaval and unanimously approved by the
Commission by a vote of 5:0.
