HomeMy WebLinkAboutSADDLEBACK COLLEGE (2) -2012INSURANCE NOT ON FILE A- 2012 - 014-01 WORK MAY Nff PROCEED FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT UNDER CLERK OF COUNCIL THE WORKFORCE INVESTMENT` ACT DATE: <-g— I (H-II3 TECHNICAL SKILLS GRANT) THIS FIRST AMENDMENT, made and entered into this 24 "' day of March, 2014, by and between South �62 Orange County Community College District dba Saddleback College ( "CONTRACTOR ") and the City of Santa t Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation duly organized and existing under the Constitution and laws of the 4' State of California ( "City "). ` RECITALS A. The City and CONTRACTOR entered into that certain Agreement on February 6; 2012( #A -2012 -014) hereinafter referred to as "said Agreement" for CONTRACTOR to collaborate with the design and implementation of the Core Engineering Bridge Curriculum for the H -113 Technical Skills Training Grant. B. The parties hereto now desire to amend said Agreement and Exhibit E to reduce the CONTRACTOR's funding amount. WHEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual and respective covenants and promises hereinafter contained and made, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of said Agreement as hereby amended, the parties hereto do hereby agree as follows: 1. Section II. A. "CITY'S OBLIGATIONS" shall be amended to decrease fiends to CONTRACTOR by Eighty Six Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($$6,400), so that the total amount of funds to CONTRACTOR under said Agreement, as amended, shall not exceed Six Hundred Seventy Seven Thousand Four Hundred Fifty Four Dollars ($677,454). An updated and revised Budget is attached hereto and incorporated herein as the aneaded Exhibit E. 2. Except as herein above modified, the terms and conditions of said Agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
