Filed by Ruben Gutierrez, proposing a new 1,895 square foot residence and a 400 -
square foot detached garage. Variances from the minimum lot size, minimum street
frontage and minimum rear yard areas are proposed at 317 North Jackson Street
located in the Two Family Residence (R2) zoning district.

Filed by The Marke at South Coast Metro, LLC requesting approval of a Type 47
Alcohol Beverage (ABC) license to allow the sale of beer, wine and distilled spirits
within the recreation deck and common areas of a new residential development at
100 East MacArthur Boulevard located in the Specific Development 76 (SD76)
zoning district.

Adopt a resolution approving Conditional Use Permit No. 2014 -10 as conditioned.
Vince Fregoso, Acting Planning Manager, presented the staff report and
recommendation.
Written communication received from Luvy Multani opposing the issuance of the
ABC License; and Jamil Bardowell in support of the ABC License.
Public hearing was opened.
Cynthia Eppeldauer, applicant representing Lyon Communities, and Michael Cho
spoke in support of the ABC License adding they accept the conditions as proposed.

Vice Chair Mill:
Commented on the article in the Orange County Register on the neighborhood
celebration of Cornerstone Village on Minnie Street and praised the Orange
Housing Development and C &C Development for the type of quality affordable
housing they create changing it into a great community and encouraged
Commissioners to visit the neighborhood.
Commissioner Yrarrazaval:
Noted great idea having the city's award winning drinking water at dais.
Commissioner Gartner
Echoed comment on the drinking water.
Commissioner Bacerra:
Encouraged Commissioners to attend The North Left restaurant, formerly The
Crosby noting he had a great experience.
