EXCUSED ABSENCES MOTION: Excuse the absence of Chairman Alderete. * * * END OF CONSENT CALENDAR * * * BUSINESS CALENDAR COMMISSIONER COMMUNICATION DISCLOSURE (REGARDING AGENDIZED PROJECTS): Commissioner Bacerra referenced the disclosure made at the prior meeting regarding conversation with Peter Zehnder on the adaptive reuse ordinance. He also disclosed that he spoke with Michael Cho regarding agenda item no. 3 (CUP14 -33, 34,42). Commissioners Bauer and Nalle both disclosed that their children attended Mater Dei High School and requested clarification if that fact constituted a conflict of interest. Vice Chair Mill referenced the previous disclosure that he had contact with a Copper Door employee. PUBLIC HEARINGS 1. MODIFICATIONS TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2000 -10 (Applicant: Mac Kamberian /AT &T Corp.) Item previously continued from September 8, 2014 to September 22, 2014 by a 7:0 vote. Legal notice published in the Orange County Reporter on October 14, 2014 and notices mailed October 16, 2014. A project overview was provided by Ann Ni, Associate Planner. Vice - Chairman Mill opened the public hearing. The applicant spoke in support of the project. There were no other speakers and the hearing was closed. STAFF COMMENTS Vince Fregoso • Commented that the November 10 meeting will be cancelled due to lack of items. 8. PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS Commissioner Gartner • Stated how pleased he is with the Broadway street improvements. • Commented that the new Council chamber doors are a great improvement. Commissioner Yrarrazaval • Thanked staff for their work with the Zoning Ordinance Amendment (Adaptive Reuse) and for the revisions to the AT &T proposal. • Informed that he will be unavailable for the meeting on November 24. Vice Chairperson Mill • Voiced that the new glass Council Chamber doors look great. • Commented that the lack of professionalism at City Council meetings by some members of the public has been shameful and hopes that they find a better method of voicing their opinions to public officials.
