AND THE COMMUNTTY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY ON BEHALF OF
THE SANTA ANA WORK CENTER/WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD
Purpose:
Term:
To describe the nature and evidence agreement between the City of Santa Ana, by and
through the Public Works Agency (City), and the Community Development Agency, on
behalf of the Santa Ana WORK Center and Workforce Investment Board (WIB), in
determining the services and fees for locating offices at the Santa Ana Regional
Transportation Center (SARTC).
The Term of this Agreement shall take effect July 1, 2014 and continue on a month-to-
month basis, unless and until terminated by either party with thirty (30) days prior written
notice.
Terms and Conditions:
City has agreed to allow the Santa Ana WORK Center and Workforce Investment Board to
occupy space within the Santa Ana Regional Transportation Center, located at 1000 East Santa
Ana Boulevard, Suite 200 and Suite 220, Santa Ana, CA 92701,, for the monthly user fee of
$12,213.00 per month at $1.67 per square foot and shall be adjusted July I" of every year as
proportionate to the change in the Consumer Price Index for Los Angeles- Riverside -Orange County,
California. Notwithstanding the above, the adjusted rent shall not exceed 105% of the previous
monthly rent. This fee includes use of space, janitorial service and all utilities, except telephones
and any security equipment. The fee does not include the cost for parking and should the City
implement a parking fee at SARTC, the Santa Ana Work Center would be charged accordingly.
The user fee is due the first day of each month, payable to the "City of Santa Ana".
Both parties are in agreement with the terms of this Memorandum of Understanding effective as
of July 1, 2014, and will implement it as set forth herein.
