Designate a voting delegate and two alternates for the League of California Cities' Annual
Business Meeting scheduled for October 2, 2015.
This year's League Annual Conference is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30 through
October 2, 2015 in San Jose. One very Important aspect of the Annual Conference is the annual
Business Meeting when the membership takes action on conference resolutions.
To expedite the conduct of business, every City is being requested to designate a voting
representative and two alternates who will be present the City at the Business Meeting. League
bylaws provide that each city is entitled to one vote and to determine a city position in matters
affecting municipal or League policy matters.
STRATEGIC PLAN
Approval of this agreement allows the City to meet Goal #5, Community Health, Livability,
Engagement & Sustainability, Priority #1, Establish a comprehensive community engagement
initiative to expand access to information and create opportunities for stakeholders to play an
active role in discussing public policy and setting priorities.
There is no fiscal impact associated with this action,
