PUBLIC EOLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM
AND THE
CITY COUNCIL
OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA
The Board of Administration, Public Employees' Retirement System, hereinafter
referred to as Board and the CITY COUNCIL of the CITY OF SANTA ANA, hereinafter
referred to as Public Agency having entered into a contract under date of November
25, 1945, effective July 1, 1947, and as amended effective October 1, 1951,
February 11 1954, September 1, 1956, July 19 1959, November 1, 1960, September 1,
1963, April 1, 1964, February 1, 1965, January 169 1969, November 1, 1970,
June 1, 1974, and December 16, 1976, which provide for participation of Public
Agency in said System, Board and Public Agency hereby agree as follows:
A. The following subparagraph shall be added to Paragraph 5 of said contract:
5.(e) Section 20983.6 (providing that miscellaneous members may continue
in employment irrespective of age as members of said System upon
certification of the member's competence by Public Agency).
B. This amendment shall be attached to said contract and shall become
effective on the day of
