We appreciate you understanding the need to amend the agreement for the Senior Mobility program for Santa Ana. By correcting the agreement to reflect a program that provides transportation to Santa Ana seniors from their homes to the senior centers and back, to shop for groceries, and for excursions within a reasonable radius around our county makes sense. You have shown that you are leaders that care about the needs of seniors in Santa Ana and have treated us with respect. We appreciate both of you recognizing that Santa Ana always kept OCTA abreast as to the destinations of the trips as Santa Ana believes on an honest and trusting relationship with OCTA. We are hoping that OCTA staff come to Santa Ana and meet with the senior advisory group to share the plans to improve the program. Seniors in Santa Ana are mobilizing to do our civic duty and vote, serve as jurors in our court system and attend City Council and County Supervisor meetings as well as reach out to our state and federal representatives so they can be reminded that we matter and are worthy of respect. We appreciate you thinking of our needs and making sure that Santa Ana is treated like all other cities in the county. Sincerely, Santa Ana Senior Center Southwest Senior Center Je of 7 ✓ ry 024a,ra- cc- w
