Re: Agreement with City of Santa Ana for use of the Santa Ana Jail.
this letter agreement will memorialize that the City of Santa Ana ("City") and City of Irvine
("Irvine") have Agreement # N-2005-078 between the parties for use of the Santa Ana Jail. The
Agreement provides for Irvine's use of the Santa Ana Jail to house Penal Code section 647f female
detainees. The parties have agreed that front time to time, that the City of Irvine may need to house
male Penal Code section 647f detainees in addition to female detainees. The parties agree that with
at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice and subject to the sole discretion of the City Police Chief,
Irvine may house male 647f detainees under the terms of the Agreement between the parties.
