12 tot% MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS, and CITY OF SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT ki 1 This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) stands as evidence that Community Service Programs, Inc., a California non-profit corporation, and Olive Crest, a California non-profit corporation, and Child Guidance Center, Lie., a California non-profit corporation; said partners comprising a collaborative known as "CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS" and City of Santa Ana Police Department (POLICE DEPARTMENT) intend to work together toward the mutual goal of providing maximum available assistance for child crime victims residing in Santa Ana, Califoulia. Both agencies believe the implementation of the Child Abuse' Treatment (CHAT) Program application will further this goal. To this end, the two agencies agree to participate in the exchange of services by coordinating the provision of CHAT Program objectives. 1. CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS will closely coordinate the following services with POLICE DEPARTMENT: CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS will refer to Santa Ana Police Department suspected child victims of child abuse to include neglect, sexual, physical and emotional abuse, domestic violence, school and community violence, hate crimes, child abduction, children whose lives are victimized by parental substance abuse, high tech crimes against children, acid runaway youth to ensure the cessation of the abuse by providing linkages to establish a safe environment for the child(ren). 2. POLICE DEPARTMENT will closely coordinate the following services with CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS: POLICE DEPARTMENT will receive referrals from CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS and Orange County Social Services Agency (SSA) child victims of child abuse to inchide neglect, sexual, physical and emotional abuse, domestic violence, school and coumaanity violence, hate crimes, child abduction, children whose lives are impacted by parental substance abuse, high tech crimes against children, and runaway youth and providing linkages to CHAT services and other SSA services. POLICE DEPARTMENT will refer to CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS and SSA child victims of child abuse to include neglect, sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, domestic violence, school and community violence, hate crimes, child abduction, children whose lives are victimized by parental substance abuse, high tech crimes against children, and runaway youth for treatment services to inchzde psychotherapy and other related services as these victims are identified through POLICE DEPARTMENT's normal course of business. 3. CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS and POLICE DEPARTMENT may mutually agree to schedule regular meetings between designated staff from CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS and POLICE DEPARTMENT to discuss strategies, timetables, and implementation of the Child Abuse Treatment Program services discussed herein. We, the undersigned, as authorized representatives of CHAT GRANT SERVICE PROVIDERS and POLICE DEPARTMENT, do hereby approve this MOU. This MOU is effective November 1, 2015 through September 30, 2019.
